We still can't get over the epic insanity that is Kelly Slater's Wave. Yes, arguably the best surfer in the world has created his very own wave. 

Nine years in the making, Kelly Slater and the Kelly Slater Wave Company team built the longest, open-barrel man-made wave in the world. Through science and innovative technology and the "sheer grit of everyone who put their heart and soul into this," Kelly and his team have been successful in producing a world-class, high performance wave. Kelly's team has said that they are super proud of the team and they are very excited about the possibilities this technology might unlock.
