Katin Klassics: Katin Shortkuts

This week’s Katin throwback features a vintage Katin ad, circa the late 1970s/early 1980s with surfer Jim Spring cruising his Katin trunks.

Surf ads like this graced the front and back covers of nearly every surf magazine and local publication during this time. Katin trunks were shown on big waves surfers and worldwide pros and everyone in between. 

This particular ad features surfer Jim Springs, cutting a rug out on the Pacific in his trunks.
